Design Philosophy

At MSI, we’ve been developing, studying or talking to anyone who’ll listen about Private Brands for the past 20 years. About how they differ from their national counterparts, as well as their untapped potential to rival them in select categories. In short: about how these unique retailer offerings are brands, at the end of the day, not just ‘private’ or ‘house’ ones; and about the ways they can be imbued with equities just like national brands, for a fraction of the cost.

To back all this up, we’ve developed a host of tools and methodologies over the years to help our clients build and support their private brands: we research consumers to measure their BrandAttachment™ levels, talk to retailers to understand their business objectives, immerse ourselves in their aisles and environments and access deep historical data to create more than just beautiful me-too packaging; we create consumer engagement and loyalty.
