Store brands broker, Daymon Worldwide, has selected Kalido to provide comprehensive data management and warehousing software solutions.
The Kalido Information Engine will map and manage more than 500,000 product names and stock keeping units (SKU) from Daymon's 5,000-plus suppliers and more than 100 retail customers such as Wegmans, Meijer and Winn-Dixie.
"Kalido distinguished itself from competitors in two very important ways," said Mark Bieler, CIO of Stanford, Conn.-based Daymon. "First, the Kalido Information Engine is a complete information management platform that best fit our MDM, data warehousing and data quality requirements. In addition, the Kalido team's intellect, experience, and responsiveness are impressive."
Kalido also works with such companies as Procter & Gamble, InBev, British American Tobacco and Unilever.
"Master data management is a critical component of Daymon's transformation project," said Bill Hewitt, president and CEO of Kalido. "The ability to better integrate, manage and share information within a complex value chain will sharpen Daymon's competitive edge and position the company to capitalize on growth opportunities in the private brand business. Daymon understands the value of data is more than what data you have, it's how you actively govern it."
