Food Lion Introduces New Store Brand Cereal

Sold at its Food Lion and Harveys banners, Salisbury, N.C.-based Food Lion introduced a low-sugar children’s cereal called Good 4 Kids.
The cereal is available in four varieties ––apple cinnamon, honey, fruity and chocolate, according to a Supermarket News report. Good 4 Kids also meets U.S. government low saturated fat and cholesterol requirements and provides 10 vitamins and minerals, calcium and fiber, spokeswoman Jennifer Speck told SN.
Regularly selling for $2.79, the 12-oune boxes of Good 4 Kids cereal is currently on sales for two for $5.
