Commemorating Earth Day, Safeway is offering buy-two-get-one free discounts on its Bright Green store brand line through April 27, according to a Supermarket News report.
“This is an easy and great way to kick-start your spring-cleaning, save money and do something better for the earth and your home environment,” the Pleasanton, Calif.-based grocer detailed in its promotional materials.
Bright Green, introduced in 2008, is Safeway’s line of earth-friendly home care products including paper goods, cleaning produce, dish and laundry detergents, trash bags and lighting. All items in the product line were evaluated by Scientific Certification Systems, a third-party environmental, sustainability and food-quality certification agency.
