Meijer Inc. has agreed to sell Reed’s all natural sodas in all of its 119 supercenter stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based discounter has agreed to carry select varieties of Reed’s and Virgil’s beverages direct through its warehouse and then distributed in all of its stores, according to a Reed’s statement.
“As a leading innovative retailer of natural and organic products in the Central U.S., Meijer’s super centers represent a significant opportunity to increase brand awareness,” said Christopher Reed, Founder and CEO of Reed’s Inc.
Reed's natural sodas are sold in more than 10,500 natural food markets and supermarkets nationwide. In 2009, the company began producing store brand natural beverages for select national chains.
