Walgreens to Sell DR Delish Chainwide

Beginning in August, Walgreens said it plans to introduce a selection of Duane Reade’s DR Delish store brands to its stores chainwide.
After acquiring Duane Reade earlier this year, Walgreens’ CEO Greg Wasson said the company was impressed with the success of the DR Delish line. The announced DR Delish roll out to Walgreens’ stores was announced during the company’s quarterly earnings call where the line e was described as “best in class.”
DR Delish includes a variety of sweet and salty snacks, crackers and beverages. Walgreens’ executives said they are also impressed with Duane Reade’s loyalty program, as well as its cosmetics and fresh food programs.
