Safeway’s Bright Green Clean Team tour is showcasing the grocer’s store brand natural household cleaning line while cleaning up America along the way.
As part of its marketing campaign, the tour has already visited Washington, Philadelphia, Seattle and Portland, Ore., with San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles next on the schedule.
“Right now our team is traveling through select cities and arming themselves with our Bright Green household cleaning products to fight grime the earthy-friendly way,” the company said on its blog.
Volunteers from community-based organizations and charities provide “extra muscle to the clean up effort and also receive free samples of Bright Green cleaning products.”
Local residents in each city are invited to register at cleanitgreenitsweepstakes.com to win a Bright Green clean-up day for their school.
“So if you see a sea of green and blue-clad volunteers scrubbing away, be sure to stop by and learn a little more about Bright Green,” the blog said.
