Expanding beyond its free magazine titles currently available in-store and online, Tesco plans to publish three paid consumer titles focusing on topics such as food, entertainment and a home/living.
The titles -- Food, Home and Your TV Week -- will be available in all Tesco stores shortly, according to a report in the U.K.’s MediaTel Newsline
With a target circulation of 50,000, the Food and Home magazines are expected to launch at the end of September with cover prices of $3 each, the report said.
Your TV Week is not expect to launch until December and will carry a much lower cover price of 69 cents.
The new magazines will be published for Tesco by CatMags Communications, according to the report. Tesco currently publishes two free titles , Tesco Magazine and Real Food, with Cedar Communications.
