Weis Markets Launches Private Label Deli

Weis Markets unveiled a new Market Street store brand deli line featuring artisanal meats at affordable prices.

Nine item are included in the Market Street roll out “and is expected to nearly double over the next twelve months to include cheeses, dips and spreads,” the grocer said in a statement.

Market Street deliMarket Street products –– all of which are trans fat, gluten and MSG free –– include oven roasted turkey, hickory smoked turkey, oven roasted chicken breast, Virginia ham, honey ham Angus roast beef, Angus Pastrami, Angus Corned Beef and Angus Italian beef.

“We considered more than forty different options before settling on our new Market Street line,” said Geoffrey Wexler, Weis Markets’ director of d and prepared foods. “Our goal is to offer meats and cheeses that are carefully made with an unrivaled attention to detail and quality that meets our requirements – and most importantly, the expectations of our customers who are looking for excellent quality at a sharp price. Market Street does both.”

Weis Markets is promoting Market Street deli products in its weekly circular and in-store with window and stanchion signs, P.O.S material, in-store audio messages and sampling.

Weis Markets operates 164 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey and West Virginia
