Ampm Adds Candy and Hispanic Snacks to Its Private Label Line

BP’s ampm chain added nine candy products and thee Hispanic snacks to the Good Stuff private label snack line launched in the spring.

ampm logoItem additions included candy corn, jellied candies and jelly beans as well as "El Mero" snacks targeted to Hispanics that include chili mango fruit snacks, garbanzos and churritos.

"Hispanic consumers are looking for products with authentic flavors," ampm president Bill Fry said in a statement. "After testing products with more than 400 consumers, we selected their top three choices to launch our El Mero brand. Hispanic consumers have exhibited strong loyalty to the ampm brand, and we will continue to find ways to give them what they want."
