President's Choice Recipe Box App -- which includes more than 700 recipes created by the President's Choice brand chefs -- is now available on the App Store for iPad, parent company Loblaw Companies Ltd. revealed.
The app includes photos, easy-to-follow instructions and videos as well. Created in partnership with Intelliware Development, the app is the first mobile digital solution from the President's Choice store brand.
"The President's Choice Recipe Box App brings to life our extensive collection of recipes in an easy-to-use, highly interactive format specifically designed for iPad," said Allan Lindsay, Loblaw’s vice-president marketing. "The app makes it simple for busy families to create inspired and tasty meals with ingredients found at local Loblaw banner stores."
Each recipe was created and tested by the President's Choice brand chefs to be easy, simple to prepare and delicious. Favorite President's Choice recipes can be saved, emailed or shared on Facebook.
"Innovative enterprises like Loblaw are realizing the power of mobile platforms to interact with consumers and strengthen brand engagement," said Dave Scapillati, Intelliware’s vice president of mobile solutions.
The President's Choice Recipe Box App is available for free from the App Store on iPad or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
Loblaw operates 1,000 corporate and franchised stores throughout Canada, which feature numerous private label offerings including President's Choice, no name and Joe Fresh Style.
