February 8, 2011
The Fresh Market is reaching out to its customers to help name its new chocolate chipotle-flavored dessert coffee.
The retailer d
etailed the rules of the contest on its Facebook page and on its web site, stating that the name should communicate something about the product’s unique flavor profile and play off a popular song title.
In the past, The Fresh Market has run naming contest for other dessert coffee flavors, with the following winning entries – What’s Toffee Got to Do With It, Berry Inferno, Karma Carmel Chameleon, It’s Raining Cinna-Men and Wake Me Up Before You Cocoa.
Consumers have until Feb. 21 to submit their entries. The winner will receive a six-month Taste of Temptation Coffee Club prize worth $160 and will be featured on the grocer’s web site and in its Inspirations in-store magazine.
The Fresh Market, founded in 1982 and based in Greensboro, N.C., operates 100 specialty grocery stores in 20 states.
