Fresh & Easy Launches Gourmet Meals

Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market launched a new line of restaurant quality fresh and frozen meals called Gourmet.
Created by Fresh & Easy’s team of chefs, “Gourmet gives customers a fine-dining experience with all the comforts of home,” the company said in a statement.
“We’ve heard continually from our customers that they love our meals, so we set out to create a truly gourmet line of affordable meals to give our customers even more options,” said John Burry, Fresh & Easy’s Chief Commercial Officer. “Instead of spending $20 a plate at a restaurant, customers can pop in to Fresh & Easy for delicious and affordable meals they can enjoy in the comfort of their homes.”
Launched on Valentine’s Day at all 150 Fresh & Easy stores, the Gourmet selections include soups for $3.99 such as Crab and Sweet Potato Bisque and French Onion Soup. Fresh prepared meals, retailing for between $5,99 and $6.99, include California Champagne Shrimp, Fontina Chicken, Apricot Pork, Lobster Ravioli, Mediterranean Salmon, Chicken Milano, Portabella Pappardelle, Braised Lamb Shank and Slow Braised Beef.

et frozen meals, priced at $6.99, include Braised Beef in Red Wine Sauce, Mediterranean-style Fisherman Stew and Pork with Portobello Mushroom Sauce.
Dessert selections include Lemon Tartlets and Mixed Berry Tartlets for $2.99 and Dark Chocolate Raspberry Gelato Truffles for $5.99
