H.E. Butt Grocery Co. expanded its line of private pure cane sugar carbonated soft drinks to include three new flavors – Orange Burst, Wild Red and Old Fashioned Root Beer.
H-E-B Pure Cane Sugar Sodas, now available in bottles, were launched a while back with two flavors -- Original Cola and Dr. B.“The whole family will enjoy the crisp clean sweetness of a soft drink made with no high fructose corn syrup and pure cane sugar, like soft drinks used to be,” the company said on its web site
H-E-B’s new beverages are responding to consumer demand for more products made with natural sweeteners instead high fructose corn syrup, an ingredient some claim contributes to obesity.
