After Walgreen’s acquired Duane Reade last year, the “DR” portion of the DR Delish brand was dropped as the drug chain expanded the private label line for sale throughout the Walgreens network.

On its Facebook page Duane Reade invites fans to “Take a peak at our new line of Good & Delish products,” linking them to the web site, which features an array of new Good & Delish products including Truffle Cookies, PB&J Cookies, Half & Half or Lemon Iced Tea Mixes, Castle Cookies, Chocolate Cups Tub 3 Varieties, White Cheddar Popcorn, Yogurt Covered Pretzels, G&D shrimp cocktailCheesecake, Raspberry Blooms cookies, Chocolate Chip Dunkers, Tortilla Chips, Air Popped Popcorn, a party mix of salty snacks, and sugar-free gum. Other food additions include a line of new fresh sandwiches and single-serve shrimp cocktail and cheesecake.

Last summer, Walgreens announced it would sell the Delish private label food and beverage line chain wide, but there has been no confirmation from the company that it is officially changing the name of the brand to Good & Delish, at least not yet. Perhaps its Duane Reade division is just testing the waters?
