Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market has expanded its grilling line to 26 pre-marinated, ready-to-cook items, including beef, pork, poultry and vegetarian options.
The El Segundo, Calif.-based grocer has extended its partnership with Neil Strawder -- a.k.a. Bigmista, an award-winning grilling expert -- to barbecue for customers at various stores throughout the summer and entice them to buy the Let’s Grill! line.
The Fresh & Easy Grill Pack, which was the company’s number-one selling grilling item last summer, will be served along with complementary barbeque-ready sides. Individual events will be locally promoted throughout the summer.
The Grill Pack includes six to eight chili citrus cilantro chicken thighs and drumsticks, four mild Italian pork sausages and four quarter-pound beef patties – nearly five pounds of meat, retailing for $9.99.
The following are some of the new Let’s Grill! products:
- Adobo Beef Steaks for $5.49 or 2 for $10;
- Ginger & Garlic Petite Sirloin for $5.49 per pound;
- Peppered Beef Filet Tips for $8.99 per pound;
- Pollo Asado for $3.99 per pound;
- Sausage & Vegetable Brochettes for $5.49 or 2 for $10;
- Southwestern Style Pork Tenderloin for $4.99 per pound;

“As we move into summer, more people are coming together for barbecues, graduations, and
picnics and everyone wants to find great deals on quality meats and veggies they can easily
throw on the grill,” said Bill Arnold, Fresh & Easy’s meat expert. “We’re expanding our grilling
range to offer our customers even more choice meat options marinated with new and unique flavors, along with some great vegetarian options and sides.”
Fresh & Easy currently operates 170 stores in California, Arizona and Nevada.
