H-E-B has issues a voluntary recall on approximately 30 of its store brands dairy products including yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream and dips sold at its banner stores, Central Market, Mi Tienda and Joe V's Smart Shops.
The recall includes products sold between June 18 and July 27 -- excluding products in 4-ounce and 6-ounce containers -- due to the possibility of foreign material in the products, the grocer said in a prepared statement.
"H-E-B is committed to the highest standards of food safety for our customers," said Winell Herron, group vice president of public affairs and diversity. "We want to take every precaution necessary to ensure the integrity and quality of the products sold in our stores."
No illnesses or injuries have been reported. Customers who purchased the affected items can return them for a full refund.
The recall includes nine varieties of cottage cheese, seven types of sour cream, six dips and 10 yogurt SKUs.
