Weis Markets Names New Director of Store Brands

Sunbury, Pa.-based Weis Markets appointed Regina Tator to director of store brands, overseeing the retailer’s 6,300 private label products.

Tator succeeds Bruno Garisto, who was named vice president of center store sales and merchandising. Tator will oversee product development and sales and marketing for the company’s private-brand products, including center store, healthy and beauty care, and perishable products.
Prior to taking over the store brands program, Tator worked as the company’s director of center store sales where she oversaw the day-to-day merchandising, sales programs and promotions for dairy, frozen and all direct-store-delivered categories. Previously, she worked at Price Chopper as director of corporate brands.
Weis Markets store brands include Weis Five Star premium products, the Weis Quality national brand equivalent, Full Circle natural foods, Valu Time low priced options and Top Care products in health and beauty.
