There’s no word on where Trappani is headed, but Pill is now vice president of merchandising for over-the-counter healthcare and store brands, according to Drug Store News. Earlier this year Pill launched CVS’s Just the Basics, a line of store brands household essentials with nearly 100 items across numerous categories including household, beauty, baby, personal care, grocery and beverages.
Greg Froton also has been promoted to vice president of merchandising, general merchandise and international sourcing, according to the report.
CVS has experienced a series of executive shifts recently. Last month Michael Bloom left CVS where he was executive vice president, merchandising and supply chain, to take the president and COO position at Family Dollar.
